Spring rain.

Woke up this morning to the pitter patter of the spring sprinkles. What a pleasant sound to wake up to. That and the birds chirping.. Good water for my little seedlings and of course free water for my cisterns. Raion water is so much better for the plants than the chlorinated, purified crap that comes from the city.

We're so close and yet so far away. Here in the "eastern plains" (although I can see the Rockies from my bedroom!), we haven't seen a drop of rain in a week. But the wind... now THAT's a different story! Never experienced wind like this, except in the few tornadoes I've been thru.

Have fun and send us some rain! Vikki at http://vikkisverandah.blogspot.com

Vikki,
Just wait. From what I have heard about the Elizabeth area its high winds, gusty thunderboomers and tornado alley in the spring.
