the Trash vitae

Another year older

On Monday I finally entered the second half of my life and have realized that I still have alot of things to accomplish before I too become the fertilizer for the next following generations. Looking back one of the most prominent characters that have been a mentor to me was my dear old friend Dr Harry Wolper. A creation of the author Jeremy Leavin. I acquired many years ago an autographed copy of the book and it has been a prominent display and reread several times.
I also have the VHS and will be looking for a torrent of the film to add to the e-library. BUt Dr Wolper is a major influence to the Trash psyche. I have used quotes of his many times over the years and his place remains both permanent and pertinent in the Trash life choice.

Happy birthday Trash! I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have the skills and knowledge of my second half during the first and the strength and innocence of the first half during my second. Oh shit, there I go philosophizin' again.
