I just finished serving the veggies their bi-weekly supplemental drink of compost tea.. yumyum
Anyhow the garden is bursting out.. Peas, radishes, maters, beans and greens are all doing ecstatic. Even the grapes are starting to produce after being fruitless for the last 3 years.. Thank you GOd.. Maybe enough to make a few bvottles of wine from them.. Not getting my hopes up yet. But alas.. Its only early July. Even the zuchini squash patch are flowering already.. Keep it up

I am so jealous. We've been pounded with hail twice in the last three days and we really aren't gonna get much this year at all.
Really need to think about having a greenhouse for next year.

When the Mrs and I went lookin for property Elbert COunty and the south, Elizabeth were not on our list due to its weather scheme being unsuitable.. I much prefer the northern corridor. I have been in CO since 1989 and that areas while beautiful wasnt my choice for a homestead. But time and patience and getting to know your land will take a few years.
