always be on the lookout

bfast- oatmeal coffee
snacke- free donuts, fruit, cheese and water
lunch- leftover bbq chicken breast with corn and cauliflower and water
dinner- mac and cheese, pizza, and water. peasches for dessert

Trash gave this post this title because I feel this is something that is neglected by all, including the survival crowd. In your daily ventures you should always be on the lookout for things you can reuse, food you can use, tools and gardenstuff that people have left to the trash, clothes that can be reworn or reworked, stuff that can be resold to add to the coffers, etc.

90% of everything at the Trash stead has found its way here from these ventures. America is a land of binge purchasing and excessive waaste. This ideology is deeply entrenched in their psyche and is almost never fulfilled. We as survivors can live very nicely on the excesses of others if we only take time everyday to be "on the lookout" and see where the potential lie.

Pixar movies did a great little film last year called Wall-E.. Check it out as he is a creative and innovative little CGC (Computer Generated Character.)

Wall-e didn't get distracted by shiny things either.
