Well the warmth is over. TOday it reached a high of 9 degrees..tomorrow it supposed to be colder. got smokes and beer and rations for the duration. Enjoying the internet nand a cuppla movies on the puter.

Friday morning at the stead pix

Carrying the Samsung phone is wonderful. Set to hi-quality allows me to take all kinds of pics and then Bluetooth them to a plethora of machines. I love it

a great little video that shows that it is possible to ride in winter. D'uh I been doing it for decades.. long johns or thermal pants from Wallieworld and a thermal jacket make for a nice warm feeling. Under the camos and arks if real cold. Rubber swim shoes or military boots are great also. And thermal gloves under the ragg wool mittens.. And please dont forget the water. You dehydrate quicker in winter.. I have two spots on the dumpie bike. One for water and the other for coffee or other imbibement.. yum

Electric cars are uselss when the grid goes down.. We need to start depending on bikes and mass transit in the future. local commerce etc. And homegrown dependence..

catchin up Monday

While I did put together a video yesterday I also went for a stroll over to the Safie to peruse the day old bakery and just recently expired meats.. I am also noticing that with the influx of the Hispanic and Middle Eastern populations in our neck of the woods I am also seeing larger selections of cuts of meat and staples I had grown unaccustomed too. While I enjoy these delicasies I will also be expecting them to show up more in the sale rack and in the backdoor shop. yumyum
As for the backdoor shopping I was able to acquire some overripe blood oranges, a package of dates and some gourmet deli cheeses and brie that I can snack on ..
While inside I noticed the prices of the found items and when I arrived home I told Mrs T that I just spent about 30 bucks on gourmet cheeses.. She nearly hit me.
yumyum And the cost was free.. We enjoy dumpie finds..
